About Michael Rand

I am a California Licensed Mortgage and Real Estate Broker. In addition, I operate my own Escrow Company, West Hills Escrow Division. Since 1985 I have experience in helping Buyers and Sellers successfully navigate through the process of Buying or Selling their homes. I have also assisted thousands of Buyers in obtaining financing for the purchase of their home and also have assisted in the refinancing of their mortgages.

I have extensive experience in the current technology utilized throughout both industries. I was Certified as an e-PRO internet professional in 2007. I have also completed courses as a Certified Foreclosure Specialist, a Certified Distressed Property Expert, HouseValues Certified Professional and a Real Estate Webographer.

Every year I am required to take continuing educational courses. In addition, I operate my own mortgage company and have originated thousands of purchase and refinance loans. My knowledge and experience in these two areas allows me to guide my clients in the most effective direction. This also allows for a very smooth transaction which leads to happy and satisfied clients.

In my free time I enjoy music, playing baseball, softball and spending time with my wife and dogs. I have one beautiful daughter who  graduated with her Master’s Degree in Psychology and has her own private practice in therapy and counseling.
